Where is your studio?

My home studio is located in Redbridge, within a brief 10-minute walk of Redbridge station. If you're traveling by car, it's conveniently situated near the A406 and M11.

How does the session start?

At Paul Cable Photography, my sessions are dedicated to creating a relaxed atmosphere to bring out the best in your child. I start with a friendly discussion about your session objectives, offer you a hot or cold drink, and set the ambiance with your favourite music.

How long do we have?

The average shoot duration is approximately 30 minutes, and we allocate a full hour of studio time to ensure your child has the opportunity to feel at ease in the environment.

What should your child wear?

When dressing your child for a headshot photography session, consider these tips:

1. Keep it Simple: Opt for simple, solid colours and avoid busy patterns or logos, as they can distract from your child's features and personality.

2. Comfort is Key: Ensure your child is comfortable in their attire. Uncomfortable clothing can lead to fidgeting, which can be challenging for the photographer.

3. Neutrals and Pastels: Neutral and pastel colours are often a safe choice. They can complement a variety of skin tones and give a fresh, clean look.

4. Avoid Overly Bright Colours: Extremely bright colours can be distracting. Opt for softer, more muted versions of bright colours if you prefer them.

5. Layers: Layering can add depth and interest to the photo. For example, a simple cardigan over a shirt can work well.

6. Accessories: Keep accessories to a minimum. Small, unobtrusive accessories like simple jewellery or a headband can work, but avoid anything too flashy.

7. Hair and Grooming: Make sure your child's hair is clean and neatly styled. Minimal makeup, if any, is usually best for children.

8. Multiple Outfits: If you're unsure, you can bring a few outfit options to the session and get the photographer's input on which works best.

Remember that the goal is to capture your child's natural beauty and personality, so the clothing should enhance their features rather than overpower them.

What happens at the end of the session?

After your photo session, you can either pick the images you would like edited or receive a download link within 24/48 hours with all the photos, which will be in a low-resolution format. This gives you the freedom to take your time, seek input from others, and make sure your final choices match your needs perfectly.

How long until I can get my edited photos?

Once I've received your image selection, I will start the final editing stage by preparing and delivering to you via a download link high-quality watermark-free images. Typically, you will receive your final edited shots within 7-10 days, if you require an expedited delivery, I offer an express service for an additional fee of £50.

Can I buy additional photos?

You will receive three edited images with your package, and if you desire additional photos, they can be purchased at an extra cost of £30 each or three for £75.
